Who is eligible to join CTLA?

ATTORNEYS: Must be licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of the State of Colorado or the highest court of any other state.  An attorney is NOT ELIGIBLE if more than one third of his or her individual practice includes: the representation of either insurance companies and/or mutual exchanges in any kind of litigation, including subrogation matters; the representation of insured defendants when compensated by insurance companies in personal injury matters; and/or the defense of institutions or corporations in personal injury litigation.
LEGAL STAFF AND PARALEGALS: Must be currently employed by a CTLA member attorney.
STUDENTS: Must be currently enrolled at an accredited law school.

CTLA represents you and your clients in state legislature through the EAGLE program. The EAGLE program supports CTLA’s registered lobbyists that furnish Colorado lawmakers with information necessary to pass just and constitutionally sound laws to protect your clients access to justice.
